We chase the sound of marching bands, follow trails of glitter and beads, and answer the annual call of carnival. Each season, the Maidens of Mischief roll through parades across Orange Beach and Gulf Shores, then gather for our own unforgettable ball - a night of merriment, magic, and mischief where stories are shared and legends are born.

Come carnival, the Krewe takes to the streets of Pleasure Island. We decorate our own float, gather our throws, and roll along the parade routes of Orange Beach and Gulf Shores with music, glitter, and a little mischief in the air. Watch for the gold mask in the procession - it is the surest sign the Maidens are near.
Each Mardi Gras season the Krewe decorates our own float and takes it to the streets across Orange Beach and Gulf Shores. Same Maidens, fresh sparkle, three crowds, never quite the same evening. Watch for the gold mask.

Our annual gala is held in the heart of Mardi Gras season on the coast at Orange Beach. Guests arrive in their fanciest gala attire, masks encouraged, ready for an evening of music, dancing, pageantry, and mischief. The Krewe leads the first toast, the room fills with rhythm and laughter, and what unfolds between is the sort of merriment that writes a hundred good stories. A few, we agree to keep among the Maidens.
Beneath glittering lights and behind carefully chosen masks, the Maidens of Mischief host an unforgettable evening of Mardi Gras magic. Our annual Ball weaves together music, dancing, laughter, pageantry, and a touch of mischief, creating a night where memories are made and legends begin. Surrounded by friends old and new, we celebrate the spirit of Mardi Gras with elegance and laughter.
Doors open at seven. The Krewe greets each guest at the threshold — wine in hand, music underfoot, the room slowly filling with masks.
A long candlelit spread laid down the hall — coastal fare, served at leisure. Guests serve themselves and linger as long as the appetite holds.
By tradition, the Maidens take the floor one at a time and call out the guests who will dance with them next. To be called out is no small honor.
When the call-outs are done, the floor belongs to all. Music carries the room from one dance to the next, and the night ends only when the Krewe says so.
Petitions are welcome year-round and read by hand as the Krewe gathers to consider new additions to the story.
